Technical characteristics of sports PVC roll

The sports PVC we install complies with the EN 14904 standard governing indoor sports floors in Europe. This standard controls 5 parameters essential to pickleball: shock absorption, slip resistance, flatness, wear resistance, and VOC emission.

PVC complex composition

• Wear layer (1.2 to 2 mm): pure calendered PVC, scratch and stain treated.
• Reinforcement layer: high-density fiberglass veil ensuring dimensional stability.

Installation in 3 to 5 days for 250 m²

Step 1 - Substrate preparation (Day 1)

Substrate must be clean, dry, flat (5 mm tolerance on 3 m rule) and dust-free. If existing substrate doesn't meet these criteria, we apply self-leveling underlayment 24 h before installation.

Step 2 - Strip installation (Day 2 to 3)

Rolls are unrolled on substrate, line-aligned, left to rest 24 h to stabilize dimension (PVC can move 0.3% in length in 24 h depending on temperature).

Step 3 - Hot welding (Day 3 to 4)

All joints between strips are welded with hot air gun using 4 mm diameter PVC cord. Result: continuous, watertight surface with no raised edge.

Step 4 - Marking and receipt (Day 4 to 5)

Pickleball court marking (white polyurethane lines) is traced to official dimensions: 13.41 m × 6.10 m per court, 2.13 m kitchen, service lines.
